If you are a Hospital Pharmacist the Hospital membership group is your channel to communicate with the PDA Union.
We hold three formal meetings a year and are in regular communication by E-mail and social media. As your elected representatives we want to know what we can do to support you. The group is made up of members who are practising Hospital Pharmacists. We have current and front line experience of the issues which affect you.
We work to represent the needs and interests of Hospital Pharmacists within the union. We develop work streams to support our section of the membership and have representation on the National Executive of the union; influencing union policy and strategy.
Our chair is working on a PDA project reviewing the inplications for the pharmacy workforce as a result of the Francis Review and developing a practical tool to assess the working culture in your organisations. Our chair also represented the PDA at the Clinical Pharmacy Congress.
We rely on you to let us know what is happening with you, so we can tailor our work-streams and agendas to meet your needs. If you have any questions, queries or suggestions contact us via the PDA website. We will respond to your communication, if you wish, will consider your comments for our next agenda and for referral to the PDA National Executive itself for further action.
We are here to support you.
